Ice cream
Ingredients 2 egg yolks 2 TBSP+2tsp sugar 1/2 lemon (for juice) 1/4 cup milk 3/4 cup (heavy or regular) whipping cream 1 pinch of salt 1 tsp vanilla extract Procedure Use an egg mixture to mix egg yolks, 1 TBSP and 1 tsp sugar, drops of lemon juice. Use low flame to heat up milk till it has small bubbles. Add salt, egg mixture, keep mixing while adding egg mixture. Keep using low flame and mixing till the mixture turns thick. Turn off flame and put mixture aside. In a bowl, add cream, 1 TBSP and 1 tsp sugar, remaining lemon juice. Use a hand mixer to mix them till the mixture puffs up. Add the egg mixture to the bowl, add vanilla. Use hand mixer to mix till mixture puffs up. Put to freezer for 5 hours.
